Training and Technical Support - HQ Inc. offers customer technical support and product training to all its customers at no charge. When purchasing a new product, it is of the utmost importance that the customer feels comfortable and confident using the product and can easily and quickly become familiar with its use and functionalities. HQ, Inc. provides immediate responses to your questions so you can utilize your CorTemp unit within minutes. Repair Services - All equipment is repaired at our manufacturing facility located in Palmetto, Florida. Prior to returning the item(s) for repair, an RMA number must be obtained from HQ, Inc. Customer Service at 941-721-7588. See the RMA section of this web page for return procedures.
Return Material Authorizations (RMA) - Prior to the return of any HQ, Inc. item, the customer must contact HQ, Inc. Customer Service at 941-721-7588 or fill out our form. The RMA number should be referenced on the outside of the carton and on all correspondence sent with the shipment. A brief description of the problem should also be included with the return. The shipment should be sent back ONLY via prepaid freight to:

The HQ, Inc. Repair Department will assess the repairs and the customer will be notified by email or phone call about any repair charges prior to the completion of the repair, unless the item is under warranty. The repaired unit(s) will be returned to the customer prepaid within two to three weeks of receipt. Invoices will be submitted to the customer for repair of any item out of warranty.

Product Upgrades and Enhancements
Standard Product Warranty - HQ, Inc. will, at no charge, repair or replace, at its option, defective products or component parts of the CorTemp® Wireless Temperature System and its accessories within 90 days of the customer’s receipt of the product. This warranty does not apply to physical damage resulting from misuse, accident, or disassembly of the unit. Repair or replacement does not extend or replace the original warranty.
Extended Service Warranty - An extended one-year service warranty is available for the CorTemp Data Recorder which covers the cost to repair and replace all defective parts and includes labor and annual calibration. The warranty does not apply to physical damage resulting from misuse, accident, disassembly, or normal wear of the unit. For more information on our Extended Service Warranty, please contact HQ, Inc. Annual Calibration – HQ, Inc. highly recommends that the CorTemp Data Recorder be calibrated on an annual basis. The unit contains a delicate quartz crystal oscillator. As the unit ages, the accuracy and performance tend to decrease and may cause the recorder to yield inaccurate temperature readings. Product Upgrades and Enhancements - As technology changes and advances, HQ, Inc. offers upgrades to a customer’s existing CorTemp data recorder or companion equipment, which can improve the product’s performance or provide a new feature. Some units will be able to support these changes and some will not be compatible. Contact the Customer Service Department at 941-721-7588 or fill out the Contact Us form to determine whether your equipment will support an enhancement or upgrade.
